1. Description and scope of the processing of personal data

Principally, we collect and use the personal data of users of our Apartmentservice Data Center only insofar as this is necessary to provide the database and its contents and services. This includes the e-mail address of the user with which he/she registers as well as the IP address. The collection and use of personal data of our users is regularly only carried out with the consent of the user. The Apartmentservice Data Center cannot be used without consent.

In addition, we collect and use personal data of employees of the operator in the Apartmentservice Data Center (in the Basicssection), which is required for correspondence between Apartmentservice and the operator. We request the name, e-mail address and telephone number of our contact persons in the company for the operations management, internet portal presence, for reservations department and for accounting.

2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis.

When processing personal data that is necessary for thecomplianceof the advertising andagency contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligations to which our company is subject, Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

3. Purpose of data processing

The collection of the user's e-mail address serves to enable access to the Apartmentservice Data Center. Your access data determines which areas of the Apartmenstervice Data Center you can use. The IP address is stored by the web server.

We ask for the contact details of the contact persons for the areas of operations management, reservations and accounting as well as the contact person for the internet portal presence of the accommodation in order to enable efficient communication for general and reservation enquiries, for questions regarding invoicing and for topics regarding the internet portal presence of the accommodation. These details are only used internally and are not visible at the property entry on the website.

4. Duration of storage and data deletion

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. The access data of a user of the Apartmentservice Data Center will be permanently deleted by the Apartmentservice administrator if the user or the apartment operator instructs Apartmentservice to delete access to the account via business communication. The IP address is deleted from the web server after one week.

If contact persons permanently leave the operator's company, the contact data of the contact persons can be replaced by contact data of a new contact person. This ensures that Apartmentservice has the current contact data of the relevant contact persons at all times. The personal data of the departed employees is deleted by overwriting or removal as soon as the administrator releases the changes.

5. Possibility of objection and removal

The user has the option to revoke his consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by e-mail, he or she can object to the storage of his or her personal data at any time. In such a case, the use of the Apartment Service Data Center cannot be continued. The user must send his objection to the consent and/or storage in writing to Apartmentservice’s address or by e-mail to datenschutz@apartmentservice.de. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation and mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected by the revocation.
